“Marriage is not a noun; it’s a verb. It isn’t something you get. It’s something you do. It’s the way you love your partner every day.” – Barbara De Angelis

I would climb mountains and travel destinations with my couples to capture any intimate and authentic love stories

I've been in the wedding photography game since 2009, and let me tell you, I've seen it all - big weddings, small weddings, traditional, unconventional, you name it. But it wasn't until my own intimate destination wedding in Bulgaria that I truly realized the value of capturing those real and raw moments between a bride and groom with their guests. With just 50 of our closest friends and family in attendance, my husband and I were able to fully immerse ourselves in the positive emotions and preparations of the day. And let me tell you, it was one of the best days of my life. That's why I've made it my mission to focus on smaller wedding parties - because I believe that those intimate moments are what make a wedding truly memorable and personal. From those boring, but most valuable group family photos to candid and silly shots of you and your partner, I'm here to capture every moment and make your marriage more united than ever. Let's create something special together and focus on your persona and intimate love story.

Since 2021 I have been booking only elopements and small wedding events. If this is what you are looking for I'm here to help you make your wedding vision a reality.

The Process

Get in touch and Choose the package

Are you ready to turn your wedding day into a work of art? Then let's start by exploring my portfolio and discovering if my unique visual style matches your wedding photography vision. Once you've seen my work, fill out the request form, and let's schedule a one-on-one personal phone or video call. I truly believe that your wedding day is more than just an event - it's a celebration of your unique love story. Starting from the moment we first connect, I will be by your side every step of the journey - from your initial inquiry to the meticulous planning of your wedding and all the way up to the day you receive your breathtaking album. That's why it's crucial that we ensure a balanced and positive match between us. If you're nearby, let's meet up for a cup of coffee or tea to discuss your wedding plans further and get to know each other better before taking the next step.

01

Accept the quote, sign the contract and pay the deposit

Once you have made the decision to hire me as your wedding photographer and select your preferred wedding package or collection, it's time to commit to one another. I will email you electronic paperwork, which will include a quote that requires acceptance, a contract that must be carefully read and signed, and an invoice that necessitates a deposit payment. Once all these steps have been completed, your wedding day will be booked and secured with me. Signing a contract is crucial for both parties. It provides you with a clear understanding of what you are investing in and ensures that you are aware of what you will receive as your treasured heirloom. Simultaneously, it allows me to confirm the services that I will provide to you. This way we both can breathe fresh air and stay away from future conflicts.

02

Enjoy your wedding and your images after

Approximately a month prior to your wedding day, I will send you a questionnaire via email. Two weeks before the big day, we will arrange another meeting - either in-person or via video call - to ensure that we are in agreement regarding the wedding day schedule and communication. The balance payment must be made on or before the day of the wedding. Once the balance has been settled, I will send you an email containing a link to your personal online gallery, where you can download your images and share them with your guests via email or social media.

Wedding Photography FAQ

What do you consider local weddings and destination weddings?

General Questions

I looked at your website and I love your work can we talk in person?

Yes, absolutely! Before booking a wedding, I always make it a point to meet with my clients in person. If the distance is an issue, we can schedule a video call through Skype, Facetime, Messenger or any other platform that works best for you. It's important to note that liking my work and liking me as a person are two very different things. While liking my portfolio is a great start, it's equally important to feel comfortable with me and confident in our ability to communicate effectively. As your photographer, I will be one of the only vendors you have a long-term relationship with, likely for more than a year from our first meeting. Therefore, it's crucial that we establish a good rapport and ensure that we're a good match for each other.

Local wedding is considered any event that is inside The Greater Sacramento Area. A travel fee of $1.50 per mile applies outside of that. For more info on destination weddings where more than 2 hrs drive is considered, please contact me directly.

When do we get to see our wedding photos?

After your wedding day, I usually try to post a couple of images on social media and tag you. This may follow by a blog post and in 30 days I post all your edited images on your online gallery where you can share them with your guests.

Do we own the copyrights?

No, you don’t. Clients often ask me about copyright rights. What most of the photographers give away is the ‘print release rights’ for personal use only, which means that the client can make prints from the digital files they received in any lab they can choose. That’s not the same as owning the copyrights. By federal law, the photographer as the image creator owns the copyrights. If you are really interested to own the copyrights from your wedding photography we can talk about it, but that probably will cost you at least double what you pay for your photography service.

How do we get our wedding photos?

Usually, your package includes downloading your jpeg files directly from your art gallery. You can also request a personal USB case to be added to your package for an extra price as a keepsake.

Can the guests take photos at my wedding with their cameras?

While it may not be ethical to use your phone camera when a professional photographer is hired, there may not be much I can do to prevent it. It's common sense to respect the photographer's space during the wedding ceremony. I kindly request that you inform your guests to refrain from taking pictures during formal group and bride and groom portraits. This will ensure that we are able to create stunning, distraction-free images that truly showcase the beauty of your special day. As a professional photographer, I am committed to capturing every moment of your special day and having multiple cameras can be distracting and may negatively impact the final images.

Pricing Questions

Can we make partial payments?

What package suits me better?

Request Prefixed packages:

Depends on the size of your wedding, the guests, and the location. The above packages are pre-fixed however, I am always working with my couples to create the best package that meets their needs. If you want to elope and have an authentic outdoor love story in the mountains or a very small intimate wedding, pick #1. If you want to have the complete wedding experience pick #3 and if you aren't sure about your budget and needs pick #2. Albums, prints, and travel fees, additional hours, and services can always be added later to your collection. Don't forget this is an investment that will last generations ahead and you do it once and forever!

I usually require 50 % deposit to hold and book your date. However, partial payments can be made. Please, contact me.

What form of payment do you accept?

I do accept credit cards, cash, check, and Venmo.
